Hair Loss and Its Causes:

Androgenic Alopecia is a common form of hair loss in both females and males. In males it is commonly known as male pattern baldness. Hair is lost in a well-defined pattern, beginning above both temples. Hair also thins at the crown of the head. The pattern of hair loss in women differs from male pattern baldness. In women, the hair becomes thinner all over the head, and the hairline does not recede. Researchers have determined that this form of hair loss is related to hormones called Androgens, particularly an Androgen called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

How Does Bio-Regrow Work?

Testosterone can be converted into another hormone, called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). At elevated levels, DHT is responsible for negative effects such as hair loss, balding and enlarged prostate. The enzyme 5-alpha reductase is responsible for converting Testosterone into this potentially dangerous hormone. Men with Androgenic Alopecia typically have higher levels of 5-alpha-reductase and higher levels of DHT. Bio-Regrow uses natural 5-alpha reductase inhibitors to help prevent the conversion of Testosterone to DHT. Bio-Regrow slows further hair loss and can assist in re-growth of hair follicles.

What is the normal cycle of hair growth and hair loss?

At any one time, about 10 percent of the hair on your scalp is in a resting phase. After 2 to 3 months, the resting hair falls out and new hair starts to grow in its place. This growing phase lasts for 2 to 6 years. Each hair grows approximately one centimeter per month, during this phase. About 90 percent of the hair on your scalp is growing at all times.
